Returns & Refunds Policy

At Darling Designs, we take pride in creating high-quality, custom-made products with care and attention to detail. As each item is handmade to order and often personalised, our return policy aligns with UK consumer protection regulations for custom goods.


Damaged or Incorrect Items

We kindly ask that you inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 14 days of receiving it. Be sure to include:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photographs showing the issue

We’ll review your claim and work with you to resolve the problem - whether that means a  replacement or refund, depending on the situation.

Note: Handmade resin items may have slight natural variations (small air bubbles). These are not considered faults, but we always strive to ensure the best finish possible.


Returns & Refund Eligibility

Due to the custom nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds unless the item is faulty or not as described.

If your item is approved for return due to a fault:

  • We may offer a repair, replacement, or refund
  • Return shipping costs may apply depending on the situation

Order Cancellations & Changes

  • You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it, provided that production has not started

If you’ve placed an order and want to make changes, contact us as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to help.


 What We Can’t Accept Returns For

  • Custom-made items that were made to your approved specifications but are no longer wanted

  • Any damage caused by misuse or failure to follow our product care instructions

  • Items returned without prior approval


How to Request a Return

  1. Email us at info@darlingxdesigns.com within 14 days of receiving your order

  2. Include your order number and clear images of the issue

  3. We’ll review your claim and respond with next steps within 2 business days
